Veronica has more than 25 years of accounting, management, and training experience primarily in the not-for-profit and construction industries. She also taught accounting to high school students while serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer (PCV) in Western Samoa and was a Financial Advisor while serving as a PCV in the Solomon Islands.

The majority of her not-for-profit experience has been with credit unions ranging from $1M to $160M; and most of her construction experience was on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. She also did volunteer work for credit unions in Uzbekistan and Senegal through Winrock International.

Veronica holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut and a master’s degree in Accounting from New England College.

She has been a runner for more than 40 years and has completed six full marathons and two half-marathons. Fun fact: Veronica bungee jumped twice while in New Zealand!
