Press Release: ARI Promotes Chris Wirth and Roberta Boyle to Vice President

GLASTONBURY, CT (April 28, 2022) – Accounting Resources Inc. (ARI), Connecticut’s foremost accounting and human resources services firm, announces the promotions of Chris Wirth and Roberta Boyle to vice president.

Chris Wirth has been with ARI since 2009 and has more than 20 years of experience helping small businesses improve their profitability by helping them bolster their financial acumen. Often described as “not your typical accountant,” Chris’s honest and candid approach helps customers make informed business decisions based on facts. His clients include engineering firms, restaurants, manufacturers, recreation venues and contractors, among others.

Prior to joining ARI, Chris served as general manager for Corporate Renewal Services, Inc., a company that specialized in helping distressed, small- to medium-size companies recover, restructure and return to profitability. Working in this environment required a hands-on approach and the need to make unbiased, critical decisions quickly. In his earlier career, Chris owned and managed Wirth Enterprises, LLC, a licensed, private investigations agency based in Texas that specialized in both state and federal white-collar crimes.

Roberta Boyle provides CFO-level services to non-profit organizations and small businesses and has been with ARI since 2016. Her clients include manufacturing entities, prominent community service programs, domestic violence agencies, cultural arts organizations and a variety of startup companies.

Roberta has nearly three decades of accounting and auditing experience and, prior to joining ARI, worked as an audit manager at several public accounting firms, including Dixon Hughes Goodman in Virginia; Beers, Hamerman, Cohen & Burger PC in New Haven; and Carney, Roy & Gerrol PC in Rocky Hill. She began her professional career as an auditor with the national accounting firm Ernst & Young LLP and also worked for Nestle Waters NA as a finance manager.
